After spending 5 months in New York, Sonali Bendre is back home for a short break and currently spending some quality time with family and friends. Upon her return, the actress reunited with her pet dog, Icy, and took to social media to post a heartwarming picture with her. She captioned it, “Reunited #LittleMissIcy.”
This morning, SpotboyE.com told you that Manisha Koirala sent out a strong and supportive message to Sonali , which read, “Welcome dear.. discovering “the new normal”will be exciting.. navigating mindfully, it is indeed a soulful time !! You have shown grace n strength in trying times.. you are gorgeous inside out!! Big hug.” Sonali replied to the message and said, “Than you my dear for all the consistent support. Lots of love.”
Before leaving for India, Sonali had taken to Instgram to talk about her break but, at the same time, also emphasised that her battle with cancer is not over. She wrote, “They say "Distance makes the heart grow fonder". It sure does. But let's never underestimate what distance teaches you. Being away from home in the city of New York, I realized I was walking amongst so many stories. And now I'm on my way back to where my heart is. It's a feeling I can't describe in words but I'm going to try - it's the joy to see my family and friends again, the excitement to do what I love and mainly the gratitude for the journey I've had up until this moment." She added, "The fight is not yet over...but I'm happy and looking forward to this happy interval. It's time to learn that there is a new normal out there and I can't wait to embrace it and #SwitchOnTheSunshine.”
